Radio One, Inc. Hires John Mason in Detroit

WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Radio One, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROIAK; ROIA) announced today that it has hired John Mason to serve as its morning show host on WDMK-FM in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Mason joins Radio One from WJLB-FM in Detroit, where he had hosted the morning show for 18 years. His show has been consistently ranked the number one African-American morning show in Detroit. Mr. Mason's first show on WDMK-FM was broadcast on July 30, 2001.
