(Nasdaq: ROIAK; ROIA) will pre-empt normal music programming on twenty of the stations it owns, in favor of airing the "Radio One Roundtable" (ROR). The ROR will take place Wednesday, September 26, 2001, 6pm-10pm (EDT.), from the studios located at Radio One, Inc.'s Lanham, MD based headquarters and air live on the following radio stations:

The commercial-free discussion will be lead by nationally syndicated radio personalities Russ Parr & Olivia Fox, morning radio personality, Ryan Cameron of WHTA-FM in Atlanta, Baltimore's WERQ-FM midday radio personality/national TV personality, Egypt, morning radio personality, Marc Clarke of WERQ-FM in Baltimore and Broadway Joe of KTTB-FM in Minneapolis.
Atlantic Records hip-hop recording artist/actor, Fat Joe, Elektra Records R&B artist, Lil' Mo, hip-hop pioneer/music activist/commentator, Chuck D, and Pentagon attack survivor, Racquel Kelley, will be among the in-studio guests taking part in the ROR. Judge Glenda Hatchett, whose nationally syndicated courtroom TV series airs weekdays in 98% of the country, will be participating via satellite from New York. Hatchett previously worked as a corporate attorney with Delta Airlines and supervised the company's Global Crisis Management and Media Relations departments.
