Radio One, Inc. Re-Brands Its Los Angeles Radio Station
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 2007--Radio One, Inc. ("Radio One" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: ROIAK and ROIA), announced today that, effective December 29, 2006, it has re-branded its Los Angeles radio station from KKBT-FM, "the Beat" to KRBV-FM, "V100, the Best Variety of R&B". The station's programming line-up will be headed by popular Los Angeles-based radio personality Cliff Winston, the new V100 morning drive host, and will also feature Shirley Hayes, Michael Baisden, John Monds and Myke Julius. The new on-air line-up is an impressive arsenal of legendary radio talent which promises to enhance V100's position in Los Angeles as radio's premier Urban Adult Contemporary station.
