("Radio One" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:ROIAK and ROIA) announced that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of radio station WPRS-FM, located in the Washington, DC market, for approximately $38.0 million in cash. The Company began operating the station under a Local Marketing Agreement during the second quarter of 2007, at which time it changed the station's call letters to WPRS-FM and began programming the station with a gospel format.
