WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 2008--Radio One, Inc. (NASDAQ:ROIAK and ROIA) announced that it has promoted its Assistant Corporate Controller, Joseph B. Isaksen, to Vice President and Corporate Controller effective March 1, 2008. In this expanded role, Mr. Isaksen will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company's finance and accounting departments, and will lead the Company's financial reporting requirements.

Mr. Isaksen, a CPA, is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he received a B.S. degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Radio One, Mr. Isaksen was with Spacenet, Inc., serving as Controller for two domestic entities of a publicly traded international manufacturing company. In his previous positions he had responsibility for SEC reporting as well as Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements.
