WASHINGTON, Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Radio One, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROIAK and ROIA) announced today that Shawneen Thompson has been named Vice President and General Manager of its Philadelphia radio stations.

Shawneen joined Radio One in March of 2010 as Station Manager of the St. Louis radio stations. She was promoted to Vice President and General Manager on July 20, 2013. After successfully managing the operations in this market, she was tapped to move on to the bigger market of Philadelphia.
