Radio One, Inc. Hires Keely L. Collins as Director of Sales for Its Atlanta Cluster

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 2004--Radio One, Inc. ("Radio One" or the "Company") (NASDAQ:ROIAK and ROIA) announced today that it has hired Keely L. Collins as Director of Sales for its Atlanta, Georgia cluster of radio stations (WHTA-FM 107.9, WJZZ-FM 107.5, WPZE-FM 97.5 and WAMJ-FM 102.5). In this newly created position, Ms. Collins will oversee the sales efforts of all the stations. She will report to Wayne Brown, Vice President and General Manager of the Atlanta radio stations.

Ms. Collins is formerly the General Sales Manager of Infinity Radio's WVEE/FM and WAOK-AM in Atlanta. Ms. Collins' local radio sales experience in the Atlanta market spans 19 years. Her Sales career started in 1985 at Cook Inlet Broadcasting's WZGC-FM as an Account Executive. In 1992, Ms. Collins moved to WVEE-FM and WAOK-AM, (then owned by Summit and now by Infinity) as an Account Executive and after a couple of promotions, she became the General Sales Manager of the stations. Over the years, Ms. Collins consistently guided the station's sales efforts in achieving revenue goals and outpacing the market place.
